The film takes place between two revolutions - 1905 and 1917. There is no agreement in the family of the Kolomiytsev brothers, bankrupt nobles. The elder brother Yakov is mortally ill. The youngest, Ivan, a gendarme colonel, is completely confused and does not know how to get out of the situation created in the family.

A follow up to Under Cover aka The Company (1991). Linda Purl is again Kate Del'Amico, National Intelligence Agent who travels to Kuwait in 1990 to investigate the possibility of an Iraqi invasion. When it is discovered that the Iraqi's plan to launch a missile of chemical warfare, the Agency must sacrifice trainee Sam Hamadi (Jesse Borrego) in order for the missile site to be pinpointed.

The film is set aboard a ship, where hostilities run high between two radio operators who happen to be brothers. During the climactic storm at sea, however, everyone pulls together to survive the ravages of Mother Nature. Universal contractees Nan Grey, Tom Brown and Andy Devine weave in and out to temper the steroid level of all those he-man goings on in the radio room. The Storm ran 75 minutes, allowing it to run as part of a double bill or as the solo feature depending on the whim of the exhibitor.
